Exploring (Learning for Life) Exploring is an interactive, worksitebased career education shivam [definition needed of Learning for Life, an affiliate of the Boy Scouts of America. Participants in the program are called Explorers and previously Explorer Scouts. The program serves youth in 6th8th grades (Exploring clubs),Exploring. It is part of Learning for Life's career education program for young men and women who are 14 through 20 years of age. Youth who are 13 years old and within 6 months of their 14th birthday can also register as Explorers. Learning for life incorporates real life situations for students to think about and be able to reflect upon as it relates to their own experience in and out of school. The hands on and role playing activities allow our students to be able to apply them to real situations.

Leadership. Nationally, Learning For Life is an affiliate of the Boy Scouts of America's umbrella. The Learning for Life organization consists of a leadership team of national Learning for Life volunteers, including specialized committees for the various Exploring programs, and supported by seasoned senior executive professionals.

Exploring is a worksite based program, part of the Learning for Life career education program for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the 8th grade) through 20 years old.

Exploring, which is the careerbased branch of the Learning for Life program, is designed to help teens explore various career options. Local Exploring groups, called Posts, are attached to a variety of career fields, but the most popular exploring programs surround Law Enforcement and Fire services.
